In the first step of the production process, polymer tapes are extruded. Polymer chips are heated to molten state at up to 250°C. A screw forces this molten resin through a die to form a film. The film is cooled and solidified as it is pulled through water tank or over a chill roll. Afterwards the film will be cut and stretched to the required specifications.
